- adjective

1) Fearful or wary of being supplanted; apprehensive of losing affection or position.
2) Having to do with or arising from feelings of envy, apprehension, or bitterness
3) Intolerant of disloyalty or infidelity



Examples:

Nagseselos si Chinen kay Umika.
Chinen is jealous of Umika.
(lol the example above is because of Kaibutsu-kun stfu)

Selos ang nararamdaman niya para kay Ohno.
Jealousy is what he feels for Ohno.
(this is dedicated to you know who)

Selos na selos si Yamada dahil kay Jay.
Yamada is super jealous because of Jay.
(hehe ilu sachi liek burning /hides)

MAINIT = HOT 

[mah-ee-neht]
- adjective

1.) Hot weather, hot temperature.
2.) Sparking, heavy ('Parang mainit ang tensyon dito, ah!' = It looks like the tension's getting hotter here!')
3.) The Philippine's current everyday temperature.

Example:
Sobrang init sa labas, kaya bumili ako ng ice cream.
It was so hot outside, so I bought ice cream.

*MAINIT IS NOT USED TO DESCRIBE PEOPLE AS 'HOT', THOUGH CAN BE COMBINED WITH CERTAIN WORDS TO MAKE SENSE. LIKE 'KATAWAN' (BODY) lol.

1. To become frightened, scared or afraid.
2. To strike with sudden fear; alarm.

Example:
Natakot ako sa butiki na nakita ko.
I got scared with the lizard that I saw

1. The feeling you get while and after watching that ⤴
2. That fuzzy, tingling, chilling feeling that's like happiness, but not quite when you're in love.
3. To feel giddy

Example:
Kilig na kilig ako sa dramang 'yun.
